Description


XP AntiSpyware 2010 claims to be a program that can protect computer and remove spyware, virus and malware. With recent evaluation, XP AntiSpyware 2010 was found out to be another counterfeit program created primarily of illegal online activities. A Trojan associated with XP AntiSpyware 2010 is the primary carrier to spread it over the Internet. XP AntiSpyware 2010 can be dropped and install on computer without users full knowledge. Since it was a virus that impose its installation, users may find it hard to remove XP AntiSpyware 2010 from the computer. Components to perform automatic procedure was intentionally prevented so that users may have no other recouse but to obtain the paid version of this program.

The damage level caused by this antispyware is a Low threat.



How to remove XP AntiSpyware 2010

1. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it on your Desktop.
2. After downloading, double-click on the file to install the application.
3. Follow the prompts and install as “default” only
4. Before the installation completes, check on the following prompts:
- Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
- Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
5. Click “Finish.” Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
6. Scan your computer thoroughly.
7. When scanning is finished click on the “Show Results”
8. Make sure that all detected threats are marked, click on Remove Selected.
9. Restart your computer.
